Why is He no longer answering prayers or why is He allowing the world to suffer? It’s so many things that are going on in the world such as the pandemic, gas prices are going up. The cost of living is triple compared to it was last year, food prices and everything is going up. Now it talks of World War 3 with everything going on in Ukraine.

Do People Really Grow Your Faith in Jesus Christ?

Therefore, people are turning away from God seeking other sources for answers. Some are trying to build a relationship with God but can’t find Him. As a result, they are going to church more, trying to follow spiritual leaders to find guidance. But there is still no hope or feeling lost as ever in the world. At the churches people are fake, living in sin, not living according to God’s will.

So where do you go, what do you do? How can you find your faith? How can you find Jesus Christ in your heart? What can you do to trust Jesus with all your heart? What do you do to increase your faith?

Get to Know Jesus Christ for Yourself to Grow Your Faith in Jesus

I’m sorry to tell you but the way you have been searching for Jesus Christ is all wrong. Trust me I know I have been in that situation so I found God for myself. The way I was taught or grew up was in a Baptist church. My family was so busy focusing on traditions or religions there was no room for God to enter their hearts.

Overall, I did not not want to live like that! It was something on the inside of me that kept pulling on me, telling me it was another way to find God. In my heart I wanted to grow closer to God so bad, I was not going to stop until I found him. So finally, I stopped going to the church I grew up in, I seek God for myself.

Regardless of what my family thought, everyone thought I was going crazy. My family turned completely against me, they said I was going to Hell and I turned away from God. At that moment in my life, I put my complete faith and trust in God. By that time I didn’t care what I had to lose or give up on because I knew my family could not take me where God would take me.

Now in my life, I have accomplished so much more than my family ever imagined. If I have never given my life over completely to God I would have still been stuck in Mississippi living a poverty mindset. You can read more about my story in my book From Nothing Into the Woman of God.

Seek God More, Pray More

Matter of fact, you should make prayer a  priority in your life, that is what helped me. If I didn’t have a church home I would pray, ask God to find me a church that is filled with the Holy Spirit. Before I even enter the building, if I do not feel the spirit or the spirit is not there I would not go to that church.

One other thing I would pray about is asking God to send more Godly people in my life to grow closer to God. Once I realize what to do I start praying more, spending more time with God and making myself available to Him. The more time I would spend with God, I became more like Him and my mindset started to think like Jesus Christ.

At that time I realized I was growing into the woman that God created me to be. Finally in my life I saw myself as the woman that God loved me as. For the first time in my life I knew what true love felt like, slowly loving and caring for myself more. The love I was searching for could only be found in Jesus Christ.

If you’re still searching for God, or looking for love in all the wrong places, pray, find Jesus Christ and accept Him as your Lord’s personal Savior. The more you pray, the peace, hope or soul searching can only be found in God. He gives hope to the hopeless! He is the peacemaker and way maker.

Follow The Holy Spirit

The most important thing I did in my life was to learn to hear God’s voice by following the Holy Spirit.

“But now I am going back to the Father who sent Me, and none of you asks Me where I am going. You are very sad from hearing all of this. But I tell you that I am going to do what is best for you. That is why I am going away. The Holy Spirit cannot come to help You until I leave. But after I am gone, I will send the Spirit to you.” – John 16:5-7

As a result, once I start seeking God more, spending more time with Him, praying more I slowly start to hear God’s voice. It could be a feeling, a dream, a smell or different signs or wonders. Once you do that in your own life, following the Holy Spirit would be natural for you. The Holy Spirit will guide you to the right direction in your life. It will give you calmness, peace, and the spiritual guidance you need in your life.
