Is God is My Provider?
God is my CEO and natural provider! I will never be broke a day in my life. Philippians 4:19 says, “My God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” When Jesus Christ came, He gave us access to everything on the Earth. Matthew 7: 7-8 7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye. shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh. findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
If you need something, all you must do is ask, you shall receive. Most people struggle financially in life because of their lack of faith and work ethic. However, if you don’t have faith in yourself or God you will forever be broke.
God is my provider and my only source of Income
There have been times in my life where I have been in crazy situations but God was my only way out. No One could have done it but God. That’s why God is my provider! However, if it wasn’t for God I would be homeless or not having anything to be grateful for.
When God created you, He created you for a purpose. How can you fulfill God’s will if you are broke?
Luke 6:38
“Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.”
It Doesn’t Always Have to Be Money
Matthew 6:33
“Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.”
There are times when God will grant you with favor. No it doesn’t always have to be money. In fact, there are many times I stated I didn’t have a job but God is my provider.
Therefore, it was around Christmas time in 2012, I didn’t have a job and my son’s birthday is right after Christmas. As a result, I was broke. I didn’t have any money. However, God sent someone to knock on my door, it was a man in the military. He said I have some toys for your son on Christmas and his birthday. We went outside, and the man had a truck full of toys for my son.
Oh I remember it was this one time I was at McDonald’s, I was thinking I wanted some ice cream. Now this time was different, I had money this time. But one of the girls that worked there, came up to me and gave me some free ice cream. Yes it works as something that simple.
Does Favor Work For Bigger Things?
Luke 12:22-24
“Then, turning to his disciples, Jesus said, ‘That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food to eat or enough clothes to wear. For life is more than food, and your body more than clothing. Look at the ravens. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for God feeds them. And you are far more valuable to him than any birds!”
Of course, favor work for bigger things! Remember God is my provider. As a result I was sitting at home one day, I needed to get some repairs done for my car. Although I didn’t have a job or the money to pay for it, God told me to book the appointment anyway.
Therefore, I scheduled the appointment for the weekend, then the man came to fix my car. He fixed all the repairs on my car, it came out to be almost $600 dollars. In addition, including the parts it was very expensive. Overall, I was still broke and didn’t have any money. But God had already worked it out for me.
Walking With Favor
When the man was done fixing my car, it was time to pay. Furthermore, I didn’t have any money on my card so I was praying it would go through and won’t decline. Then suddenly the man looked at me, he said You know what you don’t have to pay me, you don’t owe me anything. I love helping people, I have my own business so you don’t have anything to worry about.
So the man drove off, leaving me standing there. Finally I realized the man was an angel in disguise. Yes, God is my provider! If I was not obedient to the Holy Spirit I would have missed my blessings. Oh the next day God made a way for me to receive a deposit over 6,000 dollars into my bank account.
No one can tell me what God can’t do!!! All things are possible to those who believe!!!
What Are You Willing to Sacrifice?
Do not come before God empty handed. Stop saying what you don’t have and give what you do have. It doesn’t always have to be money but give what you do have.
Mark 12:41-44
The Widow’s Offering
41 Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. 42 But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents.
43 Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. 44 They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything—all she had to live on.”
During the pandemic when it first happened in 2020, I ended up losing my job. In February of that year I had sowed my first $1000 seed, not knowing that I was going to lose my job. In addition to not having money to pay my rent, but God already worked it out. You can read about that story in my blog post “The Nine Spiritual Gifts in the Bible.”. You can also read more about my story in my book “From Nothing into the Woman of God.” You can also enroll in my course if you want to learn how to make God Your true provider in life, you should enroll in my membership program Glory Nation Academy.
Windows of Heaven Opening For You
“Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.”
For instance, Jesus Christ was working behind the scenes in my life. From not having money to pay rent to God sending someone to pay rent. What if I have never sowed that $1000 dollar seed. Meanwhile, The Lord was not done with me yet. In June of that year I ended up getting a job in Houston, Texas that I was not even qualified for with a 40,000 dollar raise.
Yes this happened during Covid 19, while everyone else was losing their jobs or money. God increased my income. At that point, I was thinking how I was going to move without any money. Then a couple of days later, God deposited over $9,000 dollars into my bank account supernaturally. Now it might be shocking for most people but when you make God your provider He will provide.
Checks in The Mail
During the lowest times in my life, God always provided when I least expected it. There were times I would receive checks unexpected at the right time. If I needed to pay a bill God will send me a check for $250 dollars or $2000 dollars. In fact, it was this one time I receive a check in the mail for $30, 000 dollars.
God always provide but is your faith there for Jesus Christ to provide for you? Can you be trusted with God’s money? Do you give or sow seeds when Jesus tells you to? Is your heart right with God or do you help people in need? Do you help the poor or pay for the single mother groceries that doesn’t have enough to pay with EBT? What about the older people that is living off social security that doesn’t have money to get gas? Overall, if God doesn’t trust you with His money, He will not give it to you.
For conclusion, if your faith is not there for God to provide for you, than you will forever be broke, living in poverty or from paycheck to paycheck. All things are possible to those who believe. In Matthew 17:20 “So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”

Prayer to Increase Your Faith
If you want to have faith for God to provide for you, simply you want it so bad but you don’t know how:
Say this prayer:
Lord, thank you for everything I have in my life. Thank you for protecting me and keeping me safe. Jesus I love you so much, I’m so grateful for everything you have done in my life. God I need your help, I asked that you will increase my faith in You. Give me the gifts of faith so I can trust you in every area of my life.
In Jesus Name I Pray
Amen
Great reminder and testimony. The story about the mechanic is really incredible.
Hello Sarah! Glad you enjoyed my testimonials!!!
Thanks for this post! In “the game of life and how to play it” Florence scovell shinn writes “god is my unfailing source and supply” and I repeat that to myself daily and especially if I feel fear related to finances.
Hello Vicky! That a way to keep it going and to trust God for your finances.
Something told me to click on your post link today- with inflation hitting everyone hard, food prices going insane, and in our state property values hiking like crazy is leading to spikes in taxes (again) I was feeling discouraged last night about not having enough and stressing over finances. Your message reminds me about putting my trust in God and believing that He will provide. He always has, and I’ve never been without so I’ve got to just do my part with my family and let Him do what only He can do: provide.
Hello Miriam! Yes you have to put your complete trust in God and He will provide for you!!!
Don’t appeae before me empty handed” I had discovered this recently and I laughed. I think God as a provider is mystery. I just helped someone get a job and she’s so excited about the first paycheck. I was wondering how to tell her that the first fruits belong to God.
Hello! Remember the first fruits is for the beginning of the new year, that’s the only time you should do the first fruits. But with your paycheck you should only give God 10% and not your whole paycheck!!!!
I think this site contains some really good info for everyone : D.
Hello Zoritoler! Thank you for your comment!!!
