Traditions and Religious People Will Send You to Hell

People are so stuck in Traditions and Religious people that they can’t prosper into what God called them to do. They are so afraid to step outside the norm and so worried about what people think about them. People will stay at their same dead church simply because their family grew up in that church from generation to generation.

(In fact, people are more focused on the church than God. It’s not even in the bible that tells you how a church is supposed to look.) They are afraid to try different churches that are led by the Holy Spirit because it’s new to them and they have never experienced anything like that before.

Living in Traditions and Religious People Will Send You To Hell

Mark 7: 8-9
[8] For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. [9] And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

Romans 2:17-23
“But if you call yourself a Jew and rely on the law and boast in God and know his will and approve what is excellent, because you are instructed from the law; and if you are sure that you yourself are a guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness, an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of children, having in the law the embodiment of knowledge and truth— you then who teach others, do you not teach yourself?

While you preach against stealing, do you steal? As much as, you who say that one must not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? Then again, you who boast in the law dishonor God by breaking the law.”

What Are Traditions and Religious People?

Tradition is the transmission of customs or beliefs from generation to generation, or the fact of being passed on in this way. The passing down of elements of a culture from generation to generation, especially by oral communication.

Religious people are the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, esp. a personal God or gods. A set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, especially when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.

The Bible Says Women Can’t Be Pastors

Therefore, people are so stuck in Traditions and Religions that they don’t believe in women pastors, apostles and prophets but majority of them do not even go to church. What kind of God are you serving? It can’t be the God that created us in his very own image or whose son Jesus Christ died for our sins. In Galatians 3:28 “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.” God can use anyone to spread his word to all nations because He does not see gender and we all are one in Christ.

However, people love to bring up these two bible scriptures 1 Corinthians 14:34-35:34 “Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

Even though, in 35 “And if they will learn anything, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.” 11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 1 Timothy 11:12: 11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

What Does The Bible Say About Women Pastors?

Before I speak about this subject, let me tell these people that when you read your bibles you have to be led by the Holy Spirit instead of reading it like a book. Ask God to give you the Holy Spirit so you can understand what you are reading.

When Paul wrote that he did not say women cannot be pastors. For one reason Paul is not God and God said before you believe anything you should always ask him first. Paul wrote that because the church needed order because they were out of order. The church was in destruction after Paul left and they were sinning and doing things the wrong way. In 1 Corinthians 14:40 “Let all things be done decently and in order.”

In reality, Timothy wrote that for the married couples, he did not want the husband’s wives to over speak them and make an embarrassment of them. There were a lot of issues with women in the churches because they did not know how to take property and act like First Ladies in the churches. He did not say women could not be pastors, he was talking about the men wives who were not a part of the ministry. He wanted the women to have order in the church.

Some People Are Ignorant

At the same time, another reason people don’t believe in women pastors, apostles, and prophets is because they are ignorant. The devil will have people so ignorant and they don’t even realize they are ignorant. Besides, that’s why many people are so stuck in traditions and religion. In 1 Corinthians 14:38 “But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.”

On the other hand, ignorance is one of the main attacks that the enemy will use against people to keep them from doing what God called them to do. If the enemy will use you with ignorance he will because he already knows what God called you to do so he stops it with ignorance before it happens and people fail to realize it all the time.

God Knows What’s Best For You

People I plead the blood of Jesus over you, open up your eyes and walk into God promise land. God may move you away from your family, to a new church, city, and state or move you away from your so-called friends, but just trust God because He knows what’s best for you. It may be too strange to others but who cares what people think. If you follow others you will be stuck in traditions and religion like they are. I decree and declare that you will walk out on faith and follow Jesus. It doesn’t matter who gets left behind as long as it is not you.

Do not worry about anything because God will supply your every need. He might put you in unfamiliar places or unfamiliar situations but just trust God through it all because He has an uncommon purpose in your life.

Women Can’t Wear Jewelry or Makeup

Women can’t wear makeup, jewelry or dress themselves up on a daily basis, that is the old testament. When Jesus Christ died on the cross, He changed all the old testaments laws. Now if you want to go around looking like an old lady, that’s on you. Not to mention, if you want to attract a kingdom husband, you should always look your best. Furthermore, you should dress to impress to become the best version of yourself.

The Bible Says You Can’t Get Divorced

God said you can’t get divorce, that’s another old testament bible verse. In spite of everything that you’ve been through, why would you want to stay in a marriage that God did not call you to be in. Nevertheless to say, if you are afraid to leave your spouse, then that’s on you and no one else.

After all, God did not tell you to marry an abusive spouse, a cheating spouse, or a spouse addicted to drugs or alcohol. Not even a spouse that is not a provider or protector for their family. With this in mind, God did not tell you to fall in love with his potential. Overall, God wants you to have a kingdom marriage because your marriage is a ministry.

Stop Living with Traditions and Religious People

Last but not least, do you want to go to Hell or live in God’s Kingdom? It’s important to realize that all of the old traditions are now gone, it’s time for a new beginning. Particularly, you are created in God’s very own image and you are created in a new creature. On the positive side, we all want to go to Heaven and Not Hell. To put it differently, it’s now time to live in God’s Kingdom Glory and not with Traditions and Religious people.

  1. Trinity says:

Tradition has created more spiritual problems than atheism. God bless you!

    1. Hello Trinity! I do agree with that, God bless you as well!!!

  2. Christy, this topic is very controversial. I grew up pentecostal. Most of the church traditions and belief sytems in this denomination I later found out to be manmade and not biblical. Thank you for shedding light on the church’s traditions that prevent people from coming to God and staying in the church.

    1. Hello Kevin! Yes it’s man made and it does keep people away from the church!!!

  3. I can’t tell you how much I love this blog post. You did an amazing job shedding light on this topic. Religion can scare people away from having a true unconditional loving relationship with God. Religion can cloud over a lot of things and deter people from Jesus. I love this post!! I shared it with my family

    1. Hello Noelle! Thank you for sharing it with your family and I’m glad it helped you!!!

  4. While I agree that traditions can lead us astray, especially if we don’t know the history behind them, we do need to make sure that we aren’t interpreting God through today’s culture. For a long time, I made God in my image. I basically determined how I thought the world should be and assumed that is what God wanted too. I put myself in the place of God without knowing it. Once I started to read the Bible and understand who He is (and His story of creation, the fall, redemption, and finally restoration), the day-to-day things looked very different. God got much bigger and my view of the world changed. Once I saw my own sinfulness, I began to show grace to others and truly love them instead of just trying to sway them to my own “right way” of thinking. Thanks for sharing.

    1. Hello Carrie! That is so amazing to hear how God changed your heart and life!!!
